Scout-o-rama!

My husband is notorious for helping the local boys scouts out when they need him before they head off to scout camp in the summers. He was pretty busy this year with requests from multiple wards around for his assistance. Tonight we got a little payback and a thank you for all of that selfless service.

The scouts from our ward showed up to do some "yard work." By the time they left they had:
swept and mopped my kitchen floor
loaded and started the dishwasher
vacuumed and spot cleaned the carpet
vacuumed out my couches
cleaned our playroom
cleaned the boys bedroom
trimmed several over-grown hedges in the front yard
pulled out a dead hedge on the side of the house
cleaned all of the cobwebs outside
swept and hosed off the porch, garage and driveway
took down Christmas lights my husband was determined to leave up until next year
re-programmed our drip system
stored bins of holiday decorations away in the garage
dusted the family room
cleaned windows and mirrors
cleaned my banister
mowed the back lawn
and loaded my van with all of my junk going with me to Girl's Camp TOMORROW!

Can you say AMAZING?!!! One of the scouts was begging for more work even when they were on their way out. He declared "I really like doing house work, just not at my house." And he pointed out earlier, while he was mopping and working on dishes, that I should know he was "multi-tasking." He said his mother taught him how to do that. Oh, she would be so proud!
