My brother-in-law had his girl friend visiting from Hawaii and he wanted her to have some "girl time" with his mom, sister and me so we went to paint pottery of course! It had been a while since I've done that but we all had a lot of fun. Since I am in a de-junking mood I didn't want another little trinket to stash in my kitchen so I opted for a toothbrush holder for the boys bathroom which has a cute "cats and dogs" shower curtain and rug in it. Here's my latest creation:
It turned out pretty good but the green-ish glaze was supposed to be more blue and darker. Oh well. That is the excitement of painting pottery. I also loved the kinda drippy thing it did right here. 
In art school we called those "happy accidents" - things you didn't intend to happen but turned out awesome anyway.

Cute! I forget about that place. We did however talk Meg into it for her birthday, and it was a hit. Beats PPP anyday! We should do a girls' night.
