Lettuce Wraps - take 2

Ok, so I made lettuce wraps again last night for our Dinner Club and I was reminded once more of what a wonderful meal this makes. And it is amazing how a hug pile of yummy vegetables can fill you up. I tried to take a picture of my veggie-hater CMH (age 7) eating these but he wouldn't let me becuase he said he was too sad that I didn't make the wonton soup too. He did eat and love the lettuce wraps though. BTW these get pretty messy but they are worth it every drip and slurp.

I tried the sauce #1 from my previous "Super Bowl Food" post but I have to say, sauce #2 is much much better. So, go on - try some lettuce wraps tonight!

we tried your recipe for wonton soup the other night and it was sooo good. It was very filling, by the time we got to the main course, i was stuffed. I'll have to try it with the lettuce wraps. I think I got the wrappers to large, next time we will try the smaller ones. it took me forever to even find them at Fry's. I never go to the natural aisle!

Thanks for asking about Alex. He is still gaining weight - although last week he lost 2 oz. because he had been sick. I weighed him today and he had gained 9 more ounces now that he is feeling much better. It still looks like he will be on the tube for another 3-4 weeks to get his curve actually on the growth chart! He weighs 16.3 now! (We started at 13.1)
