Trash to Treasure

I bought this old chair at a thrift store in town for two-fifty - yes, $2.50 (it was on sale from $4.99 - what a bargin)! I bought it for MJH's home office and because I have an amazing friend, Nicole, who I knew could help me fix it up. I removed one layer of old yucky fabric and found another one underneath. I really had no clue how to procede from there and so she just came over and got it from me and worked her magic on it. It turned out so beautiful. And Nic - it does look much better without the price tag stickers on it! You're amazing, thank you!

$2.50?!? That's awesome. In CA that would be $20, even at a thrift store. It looks great!

That chair looks amazing. Great job Nicole. Wow!!!! I loved the story about the stick pony. Kennedy got one for Christmas, but she hasn't attempted the stairs yet! :) I posted some pics on my blog for you of your necklaces.

that is such a cute chair. I saw it at Nic's house, while it was in progress. Great bargain!

everything is fine. i'll rely on others if i need to, but i don't right now. i have myself to rely on. i'm not TRYING to be more mature, i'm just becoming stronger, by dealing with things my own way. if i don't need other people, then i don't want to be close to them. the second you get close to someone, something bad always happens. i'm not taking that chance of being hurt. not anymore. i always make the mistake of giving too much of who i am to others. i can't trust people anymore. not anymore.
